Join the Hayward Gallery for emerging artist Amol K Patil’s first solo exhibition in the UK.

Hailing from the vibrant cities of Mumbai and Amsterdam, this emerging South-Asian artist embraces a diverse range of mediums, from performance to installation, sculpture, and painting.

With recent showings at prestigious events like the Kochi-Muziris Biennale in 2023, documenta fifteen in 2022, and the Yokohama Triennale in 2020, Patil’s work now graces our shores.

Through his art, Patil delves into the pressing issues of our time, including the plight of workers and the complexities of casteism. His installations serve as a bridge between the human body and the bustling urban environment, drawing connections between the past, present, and future. Additionally, he explores the concept of real and imagined borders, shedding light on how they restrict access and movement for his community.

Experience Patil’s powerful artistic narrative, where he welcomes you to explore his unique perspective on these critical themes.
