Visit The British Library for monthly creative workshops tailored to blind and partially sighted visitors.

Led by artist Karly Allen, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to explore the Library’s collection through tactile and 3D art making.

Each session provides a uniquely immersive experience. Participants will receive audio descriptions of items from the collection, including manuscripts, printed books, and distinctive sound recordings. Following this, you will be encouraged to express your creativity using art materials provided by the Library.

This experience is open to all – beginners and experienced artists alike. Each workshops is free of charge and includes refreshments. Guide and assistance dogs are warmly welcomed.
