Celebrate 150 years of the St Albans School of Art with this special group exhibition. Hosted at St Albans Museum + Gallery, the exhibition reflects on the school’s long history and its influence on generations of artists, designers, and creatives.

The exhibition showcases artworks and stories from past and present students and staff, highlighting the school’s journey from its beginnings to its current role as the School of Creative Arts at the University of Hertfordshire. It explores how the school has shaped creative education and supported artistic development over the decades.

This is a two-part exhibition, starting at the St Albans Museum + Gallery before continuing at the University of Hertfordshire’s Art + Design Gallery later in the year.

Whether you have a personal connection to the school or are simply interested in local creative heritage, this exhibition offers a chance to reflect on its legacy and ongoing impact.
