Join the Victoria and Albert Museum on a journey through the history of the Caribbean.
Explore the unique traditions, dynamic culture and painful stories of these beautiful nations; including their pursuit of freedom, challenges of migration, and influence of creolisation.
As part of the tour, you will discover the stories behind select items in the museum’s collection, as well as the display ‘Between Two Worlds: Vanley Burke and Francis Williams’.
Featuring portraits of two Jamaican scholars separated by three centuries, these works find connection through their exploration of identity and colonialism.
Tours are available every last Sunday of the month except December.
