The Pier Art Centre pays tribute to the talent of 21 impactful women artists, as they indulge in the joy of observation. 

Showcasing an impressive array of Modernist treasures from The Pier Art Centre collection, the exhibition includes works by renowned artists like Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Barbara Hepworth, and Margaret Mellis. Alongside these celebrated works, the display also shines a spotlight on contemporary additions from the likes of Sara Barker, Katy Dove, and Eva Rothschild.

The focus of the exhibition is on the enchanting Orkney landscape, featuring pieces by Sylvia Wishart, Margaret Tait, and a selection of seven emerging artists, including Alexandra Kadzevich, who was the resident artist of the 2019 British Council UK/Ukraine SWAP Residency program.
