“The Templums arise as spaces for contemplation and the re-imagining of old narratives. They offer a pause, a place where we might cease to oppress each other and open up to new stories.”

Enter The Templum, a glowing Temple of Contemplation, where time slows down and wonder begins. Created by artist Kate Howe, this immersive installation transforms the Stables Gallery at Orleans House Gallery into a safe, reflective space, inviting visitors to explore new possibilities.

As you wander through its warm, translucent alcoves, tunnels, rooms, and burrows, you will be met with soundscapes, silence, changing light, and the presence of others sharing in the experience.

Participate in a social performance, listen to readings, and join in this collaborative building process. Powered by curiosity, connection, and reflection, ‘The Templum’ invites collective exploration through sound, movement, silence, meditation, and healing.
