Glistening in the Turner’s iconic Foyle Rooms, Lynda Benglis’ “Recent Sculptures” stand proudly against the backdrop of the North Sea. These polished bronze sculptures encapsulate her fascination with knotted forms—their fluidity and versatility.

Benglis views each form as an organic knot, reflecting her philosophical inquiry into growth and form.  She sees each as an embodiment of energy and transformation, akin to the metamorphosis of a butterfly.
