Step into Thingchronicity, where objects appear as if guided by some unseen force.

This concept, named by Hertfordshire-based multidisciplinary artist Maria Meyer, speaks to those unexpected, serendipitous moments when things arrive in our lives with purpose, helping us navigate life’s projects and challenges.

Through a series of sculptures, installations, and paintings, Meyer reimagines our relationship with material objects.

Inspired by philosopher Bruno Latour’s Parliament of Things, the exhibition suggests a world where both people and objects share a meaningful voice in shaping reality. Meyer’s carefully arranged assemblages explore the influence of objects on our lives—revealing the magic, symbolism, and intrinsic value they hold.
