Marking its 75th anniversary, the New Contemporaries exhibition returns to the ICA, continuing its legacy as a platform for emerging and early-career artists. This year’s edition showcases the work of 35 artists, selected through an open call by a panel of renowned artists, including Liz Johnson Artur, Permindar Kaur, and Amalia Pica.

The exhibition offers an insight into pressing contemporary themes, exploring cycles of nature, sustainability, fragmented memories, pop culture, and the digital age. The works range across mediums and highlight urgent lived concerns, creating a dynamic snapshot of the next generation of artistic talent.
