Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum presents It Will End in Tears, her debut solo exhibition at a major UK institution.

In this immersive experience, Sunstrum transforms The Curve into a series of theatrical, life-size dioramas, guiding us through an imagined colonial outpost where a femme fatale breaks societal rules. Her narrative unfolds through paintings and installations, drawing us into a story of defiance and disruption.

Spanning drawing, painting, and installation, Sunstrum’s work reflects her life across Africa, Southeast Asia, and North America, weaving together themes of borders, home, and identity. A powerful exploration of liminal spaces and personal experiences, this exhibition invites us to witness what happens when one refuses to conform.
