Garry Fabian Miller stands as a progressive figure in fine art photography.. 

“The Sea Horizon.” is a captivating series of 40 painting-esque photographs captured between 1976-77.  Modernist and minimalist in his approach, Miller has presented each image in a square format, with the horizon providing a distinct separation between the colours and textures of sea and sky 

Miller’s photographs showcase the view from his rooftop in Clevedon, overlooking the majestic Severn Estuary, the second largest tidal range in the world. 

In beautiful, varied hues, these images, taken across time, light and weather, bring forth their own representations of this space  –  a stunning, serene exploration of time, place and belonging.
